On the shipping being expensive, it's basic FedEx rates.... Our site gives our FedEx Ground discount, so you're paying less than the FedEx retail rates in buying through our site. FedEx is expensive for a 1 pound shipment, but the rates aren't bad at all on 3+ pound supply shipments, and our $34.95 overnight shipping for any size or quantity of tortoises is the cheapest in the business (that I am aware of) from anyone even halfway reputable.

I have purchased from Tyler and very happy with the experience. I would recommend him and purchase again from him. I honestly think his shipping is extremely reasonably, as I am charged on average $60-65 to ship hatchlings in a 7x7x6 when I ship tortoises. Prices have really gone up after 2011 due to the economy and fuel charges for the mail services.
