If my 2-month-old CDT has a cuttle bone broken into 4 pieces all over his enclosure, a MVB, at least 20 mins of outside "play" time a day, and a highly diversified diet that is supplemented with a Mazuri/ finely chopped Timothy hay mixture twice a week, do I still need to be sprinkling calcium on his food 2 or 3 times a week? I have some calcium powder, but I am hesitant to use it because it also contains vit. D3, and I'm loathe to O.D. the poor lil' 'guy' on the stuff.
I know I can always scrape some cuttle bone onto his greens, and have done so in the past, but, given my current husbandry practices, would this be considered an obligatory step?

Thanks! :)

I wouldn't worry about adding more calcium with D3. I think your diet sounds good without it. Maybe scrape the cuttlebone once a week if you don't notice him chewing on it much.
