If there are other RSA members, I need your help. I have been looking absolutely everywhere for tortoises and I have found none. Does anyone perhaps have hatchlings, that they want to sell?

Hi I hope you find a tortoise. Where about in South Africa do you live. Perhaps try a zi or Nature reserve that might have some that were not wild raised. No pet shops in my area of KZN. Good luck but please do all the research about living conditions, diet and what temperatures and humidity it will require so that you can give it s great life. Here in South Africa I am of the opinion that wild is best.

Thanks for your reply! I have been looking everywhere for tortoises with the correct paperwork, but there is none. All I've seen are scams.

I have been preparing for a sulcata or leopard with the corrects housing etc.
But hopefuly there are some South African members that have breeding pairs!

I don't think many South Africans post here. I am possibly wrong but have not encountered any yet.
