Does it do any harm to a Sonoran Desert Tortoise to wake him from hibernation, warm him, and keep him in an enclosure until spring?

No. However, if he is already brumating and doing fine? Why would you want to interrupt his seasonal rest? Just asking--not judging ;)

He has been recently moved to my yard. He was hibernating but then was awake a bit during the move that day. He is nestled into a new burrow and seems ok. I was thinking that I could eliminate any possible harm from the stress of this move by waking him to avoid any hibernation stress issues. This move happened last Sunday.

I say let nature and instinct do their thing. My slightly over year dt (Cooter) went into brumation about a months ago. I havent disturbed him once, just lettin nature and him do what they do.
