The vet gave him the first shot today.... My
Husband said he refuses
To do it.... So I'm on my own

I was glad the last time I had to treat a RI (it was a rescue) I was able to give her nose drops and mouth shots.

So... I gave him the first injection.... I ended up sticking him twice :-( she said it
Doesn't hurt but he hissed at me.... Poor guy :-/
