Older males of the species have more pronounced bifold cusp , so since its a female a slight cusp is to be expected . Its a Dark gulf coast female , class dismissed lol jj!

Yes, it is a gulf coast boxie!!!

I agree that it looks too dry. Gulf coasts really do need humidity and dampness, and will suffer respiratory problems if things are too dry.

100% Gulf Coast..... But did we not have fun with this.

Your turtle needs a lot of long soaks, it's bone dry.

While the sun was setting one of my Gulf Coasts was soaking in his pond.
They love water, one of my female Gulf Coast's will sometimes sleep under water in her pond, It's crazy when you first see it...
