Carrot tops

When you guys say carrot top, do you mean the leaves or the top of the carrot you would cut off?

Can you feed the leaves to them as well?

We got a big bunch of carrots and want to feed the tops to them, but I’m unsure if that means the leaves or not

We mean the leaves. They have a strong taste and smell. I mince them and add them in with other favorite greens in relatively small amounts.

Its great if your tortoise will eat them, but don't be surprised if it takes some time to introduce them.
