Catfish feast in the canal

There is a canal behind my work and a dead catfish is getting destroyed by several soft shells /cooters/ and red ears. It's so cool to see. The pictures don't capture how many turtles were trying to eat off of it. I would guess at least 15.

Reminds me of when a dead whale floats at the surface while white sharks keep taking chunks off. Very cool. Must have been awesome to see.

Oh it was beyond cool. The same turtles I always frighten were not concerned with me watching in the least lol
