Hello everyone!
I have a 5 month old Greek tortoise, and overall seems to be pretty healthy. Today after I misted it, I saw bubbles come from the nostrils. I have never seen bubbles before today, and there is no other sign of a respiratory problem. I do not know if the bubbles were because of water from the misting, or because there is a respiratory issue, but I am concerned.
Can anybody tell me if this could be because of the misting? I will take him to the vet if I continue to notice the bubbles.

You would need to see bubbles or a runny nose when not misting to know if it's a respiratory infection or not.

But I guess I want to hear that other people have seen bubbles when misting. Is this something that yo have ever observed?

I have seen Tank blow bubbles after dunking his head in his water dish.

I have not seen bubbles when misting but I don't directly mist the torts - just plants, substrate and hide boxes. I've definitely seen bubbles during soaking, drinking or dunking, though. Just watch for bubbles when the tort is not around water, like Danny said :D
