Hey, just wanting to do a check in on my set up for my Geoemyda spengleri I've had for a bit. I am keeping her exactly as the breeder was, but her shell looks maybe dry (?) despite high humidity and I'm really worried I'm doing something wrong. I have moss and pothos on one end and maybe 1/2" of spring water on the other. The cage is tilted so the moss side is higher and the water pools on one end. Humidity on the moss end is 82% right now, 74/75 degrees. I have a heat mat taped to the side on the water end that's at 78 degrees. She was 8 grams when I got her on August 9th and is currently 14 grams as of Monday. She eats primarily red wigglers chopped up every other day, usually a whole worm. I know that's not very quantitative since they are different sizes though. I have turtle pellets I put in twice a week or so but she usuallyyyy doesn't eat them. She will occasionally take a little earthworm but she prefers the red. I change her water every other day, and I've changed out the moss twice.
I don't keep the water deep enough for her to fully submerge, should I make it deeper? Do I need to mist her enclosure to make the air more humid?
Thanks in advance
