Get the smallest one you can find. 20gal is really small and a CHE is going to dry it out really fast.

Any chance you can swap the 20gal viv for a Rubbermaid storage bin with more floor space?

Even the smallest CHE you can find will heat the whole 20gallon tank. Probably next to impossible to provide a temperature gradient. More space is a real good idea.

I agree with what's been said. I would recommend more space.
