It's about 2ft x 2ft, and I REALLY like this idea, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas I could do to "expand" it and make it bigger for an adult, possibly. Otherwise, I'm probably going to get it still and save it for when I get my baby. I really like the idea.

To expand it you would really need to completely take it apart and widen it. I'm not so sure that would be easy. It would probability be easier to use a coffee table instead of an end table like this guy did. It's a great idea though.... One more thing to keep in the back of my head for ideas.

@tortdad did something sim.... I think????

I didn't use the table, just the legs. I built my box turtle enclosure from scrap parts laying around. I took the legs off an old end table and used them on my custom built box. I only had to buy some screws and a few odds and ends.

This was not the first time I've repurposed something into a tort enclosure. My baby Redfoots and housed in a redone baby changing table.

How did you add the glass/plexi glass to the sides of the baby table? I found a really cheap coffee table that's bigger than the enclosure I made now that I would love to repurpose for my adults winter enclosure.

the bottom of the plexiglass has a long piano type hinge on it and the sides/top has a cheap clasp latch. The hinge was about $10 and the 4 pack of latches was like $5. The entire front folds down so I can feed/clean.
