This turtle site just popped up in my Twitter. Looks like some good research info.

They are having a large conference in Florida in the Fall.

The Turtle Room people are members here. Used to post a lot, but have fallen by the wayside.

Looking forward to Marks pics!

Kerry and I both saw a "full-regalia" Bald Eagle yesterday(full head with full tail view) and I saw another this morning through the slider glass! I love seeing them.....I remember very well when DDT nearly scabbed them....so it's very cool to be in their domain.

Spent the day Sat going food shopping, then I wrestled with "wood" for 3.5 hours while Kerry very wisely, cleaned house. Ramp far from correct, 5-2x6's hung from PT on shed & I left an 1/8-3/16 eyeballed, between the deck boards. Seemed about right to me....LOL....but I could drive my car up it! Steps on the end of the shed are in a couple weeks after Kerry gets back from Fla., I have the stringers in the shed but I think I have a 2x10 here to make the steps with. Of course as I type that I remember that I left my battery circular saw in the shed too....geez!

Ended up taking my headache med this morning but I see the Dr tomorrow so that's good. Love to make them BOTH once a week! LOL

I did leaf-hauling support for Kerry while we worked outside today, watching her go over her yard twice & popped on the sprinklers for a few minutes. Then we went for a bike ride before I came home.

Daughter is leaving tomorrow to go to Las vegas, meet her boyfriend then drive to Ca to the Redwoods. Very cool. Last time she was in the Las Vegas airport, the lady "screamed" at her for crossing the red divider for the slot machines. LOL I think I spent a dollar, maybe. I just had to do it. We were on our way to San Fran so we were just there for an hour.

I'm out...beat....that girl works me too hard I tell you, too hard!

Enjoy the evening guys....still 57F here!

Well... sorry my front yard is such a Crab Apple tree and weed mess right now 🥴🙏.. But 20230223111308_IM_00355.JPGthere's always a pair of doves with one sparrow first before the dang invasion of doves and sparrows. It seems like those three hang out together . Another bad picture from the campark.

Great pic of a mated for life-pair! It might be a tad bright, but it looks to be a pretty good shot to me, the guy who admits that he cannot take picture....so lets keep my opinion in perspective! LOL

Don't apologize for the yard Ms Cathie, most of us are in the same boat every spring!

There's 3 pair that visit. I only know that because I've seen 5 at once. There has to be another one. I hope I get to see them with toddlers in training soon. It's really cute to watch doves with their kids. Spring will brighten the yard up soon with Crab Apple blossoms, leaves, and green grass instead of onions. That'll help the color.🥴🤗 I like the look of my 8' garden border fence with the little camouflage trail camera on a 2x2 x4' pole. I think I'll add a couple more 2' sections to the fence though.

The best thing you can do for wildlife in the Spring is to do nothing Cathie - there could be all sorts of amphibians, insects and even queen bees hiding in leaf litter etc until the weather gets warm enough for them to move on. So don't apologise - it looks much better than my garden right now!

Good afternoon/evening all,
We have some rain falling at the moment with sleet and snow on the way over the next couple of days, and ice warnings in place. I don't think it will amount to much in my area but I've been out to the shops to stock up Lola's larder - just in case - so he'll be fine.
My butterfly has gone back into his cold weather mode but as soon as it's warmer and we get some sun I'll be opening the window for him to fly off.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your Monday but it's time for me to hit the hay now so Nos Da and see you tomorrow.

That's my motto too.🙂 after fall I let it lay for the winter. It's usually composted in the soil by spring. Those durn onions have to go though. I'll be hiring a teenager to help me with the wild onions again 😉as usual.

First of March @ 50F.....come on SUN! A bit more and "free" waterfront will be ours!

I had my little friend Fred & Friends, removed from my back in the morning, a doz stitches installed at various places then came back to kerrys to get a project bid....then she went to school and I didn't do much. Not doing much is exhausting!

The flexibility the Chiro guy got me on Monday started to disappear Thurs evening and is gone now BUT.....it's Sat morning and I didn't have a migraine since I saw him on Monday afternoon. That's 5 days in a row...@ that rate I'm no longer running out of meds before I run out of month! The acid test will be "time" of course but ever teh eternal optimist, I'm feeling pretty good about Dr Fare!
After my accident and I came out of my coma. When I woke up in the morning or after a nap. I would have a horrible migraine. I tried different beds and pillows. After about a year of putting up with the migraines. I was at a pain center for my back. Lower back and I fractured vertebraes in my next from the accident. I mentioned the migraines and ended up having injections. The migraines pretty much stopped for 6 months. After a few more injections over a period of a year. They went to a procedure called ablation. Where they cauterize the nerve endings. That has been over a year now and I have had just a few migraines. Not sure if your situation is the same from injuries or something else. Just thought I would throw that out here.

Always welcome Ray, I have heard about the injections before but honestly thought they were for mostly women. For me, the "placebo effect" is really strong at first, so the new broom always sweep clean for me no matter the remedy, till time always tells the truth. Your injuries were so far off the charts that I would even hazard to compare in any shape or fashion.....btw, my house is empty & Kerry leaves for FLa on Weds, you coming up? I'll take you to The Block in Baltimore....good times but I don't carry a gun, you might want to there. LOL

I just dropped a load of laundry in the washer AND started the dishwasher!! Right? It's 2am but daughter landed 2,000 miles away last night so I'm not waking anyone! I like this! LOL

Good morning all,
No snow yet - seems tonight will bring the worst of it.
Lola has just popped out to say hello and have his breakfast, so I'll take the opportunity to pop him in a soak and clean his hide.
I can't go anywhere as waiting for a parcel to arrive, but didn't have any plans anyway because of the weather warnings so I'll just busy myself inside - and there's plenty to
keep me occupied.
So I'd better get on - have a good Tuesday!

It's quite late but it has happened before.
Five years ago we were knee deep in it thanks to the 'Beast from the East'. I think it's to do with a sudden stratospheric warming that's been happening over Scandinavia I believe, but then it also seems that when places on the east coast of US gets snow it usually snows here eventually.
Looks like Scotland and North of England will get the brunt of it.

Well Rose got home Thursday and started to feeling ill. Sore throat, body aches, low grade fever and migraines. She took a covid test 2 days in a row with negative results. Had a doctors appointment today and was diagnosed with a virile infection.
Prescribed Z-Pac of antibiotics and another med. I think I am starting to come down with it now. I will just gargle with hydrogen peroxide and take Ibuprofen. I try not to take antibiotics. I think doctors prescribe them to often. I feel if you take the antibiotics to much, they become ineffective.

I’m thinking that’s a ramp for all of Jeff’s wheeled toys, mower, bikes & wheelbarrow. Hopefully his Boxie Matilda doesnt need a ramp that large one with traction. 🤷‍♂️
