Nope 😉it was a ground hog stitting up eating a crab apple from our tree. I thought someone left a log at first. When I tried to get a camera up and going, the brat went under Joe's car and then traveled under the neighbor's van. That's kinda crazy because they will take up house keeping under a vehicle if you let them. And store their apples on your motor if given a pandemic to be themselves.😉🙃
Oh no! Six more weeks of winter!!!😯

You'll miss them Jeff and I'm sure your daughter will miss you too. Hope they're not too far away and will visit often.

She called in the afternoon and I went over to see her place, a upstairs 1 bedroom apartment. The outside long staircase access is something kids never see but it's the perfect 1st place! How they got her foam California King up there must have been a treat to watch!

I am proud though and I was sure to tell her. She's doing the "adult thing"! A safe place with a WASHER/DRYER, closer to work for 1400 a month is a steal where she is. Her rabbit is written into the lease too....God bless them, they know not of what they agreed to!

AND
She is right across the street from her moms house so any issues should spillover there, not here! LOL

Oldest sent me her invoice for her photographer for her Nov wedding......I was so happy for her that I paid the entire invoice, prob shouldn't have done that, oops. I told her max of 4K and it was just over half.............yes, I was thrilled!

Zenni sent me broken glasses to take on vacation, now they want to replace them. At least they reacted....254 dollars of junk.

Kerry is visiting family with her Dad who came down last week. I left Mon to come home from her house before they left on Tuesday. I felt out of place there. Generally not a good sign for me but we'll see. I'm not thrilled with what I see coming down the road right now with things & lack of real space so I'm puttering at homes in South Carolina, seeing what's out there. Not interested in having to check for alligators before I have my morning coffee though.

This home checks a lot of boxes......not perfect but a lot of boxes.

You look too happy to be rid of the kids 😉 but I guess it means a job well done 👍 and they want to be on their own. Exactly what a parent should aim for.🤗

Glad to see you feeling better Ray!

Manning is another place I am going to look, thanks. I want palms trees, not gators! That's a difficult thing to achieve I'm finding.

See the bump in the water behind my 1st gen scooter a couple years ago? It's not a bump! Took this at Huntington state park in SC....out in the open. All the access favored him by a long shot, no Steve Irwin croc-leaps here!

Pretty melancholy, happy bout some things like youngest moving on her own, unhappy bout others. I get like this sometimes....my youngest picks up on that stuff and she's a little lonely too I suspect so it was nice that she called on her way home today. LOL, we talked longer than we have in two years on the phone! I'll call her to say goodnight later....

I can't believe that you posted that "fecal" pic.....on second thought, yeah, I guess that I can! LOL

I know I kept getting teary eyed when my youngest turned 21. It wasn't sadness or happiness. It was both. Sad the time was gone and happiness that he felt safe enough to try and be on his own. They don't go away completely though. It just gets better as you watch what they become. Believe me you'll have to keep helping 🙏🤗 sorry I couldn't resist the pic. You know the thing if you don't have a picture it didn't happen. Well guess what I'm sure it does. Stuff happens 🥴

That's weird but because SC is a tourist state it doesn't surprise me. People are told not to feed the wildlife but do anyway.
My parents had to have a large alligator removed twice. They relocated them. The problem was my parents couldn't use their boat.
People think why is this happening now. When it's because we are building homes where the wildlife used to live.

That's so funny Ray.....so exactly WHEN does one realize that there is a gator in their lake or byway, when they drop the tow rope while water skiing? I saw the lack of water-ski'ers back in the 80's when I looked at an AFFORDABLE waterfront home with my wife. Huge lake, a couple of acres, a dock, boats bulkhead $159,000(I never forgot that price)....no water skis in sight. My wife didn't notice it, so of course being a dic, I asked the Agent. He spun a story of it not being popular there......I guess not! LOL We bought a home locally in Chartwell instead, better schools, less gators!

I want my cake, then I want to take big bites with a glass of whole milk......it's not easy to find but it's fun looking for it.

Not unconnected, is how I look while Kerry's still in timeout.....I tell her what's going on, that I felt out of place at her home....just the way it is, I don't sugarcoat it. I don't blame her for anything, but just the same, I'll stay on my side of the bridge for a while. Weird how that happens sometimes but we all have our "junk". Maybe it's just the wrong home to move into and subconsciously, I'm letting myself know that I'm consciously trying to tell myself otherwise? Deep for 5am......lol

Good morning/afternoon all,
Weather still a bit unsettled and windy but cooler so it suits me.
The bungalow I was supposed to view yesterday was sold at the beginning of the week so didn't get to look around it. Wasn't meant to be but I'll keep looking.
I hope you're all well and having a good Thursday.

Were the alligators attacking your parents or their boat? Or did they just feel safer if they moved them?. 😊 I've not seen wild alligators attack boats, people or attack animals that are on land. They will if they get hand fed but I still can't see one attacking a boat.

Really the HOA of the gated community wanted to be notified. They were never attacked, but didn't feel safe going near their boat.
