My appointment for my back injection was at 4pm. All done by 5:30. The procedure only takes 5 minutes. Tingling done my leg has subsided by 50%. Should get even better in the next few days
I can remember my first Back injection, the needle didn't bother me going in. But when he started injecting the medicine, the pressure was so painful. I squeezed the metal gurney so hard, I believe I left my handprint in the gurney. LOL

Your right, when the medicine is injected. There is a lot of pressure. I have had quite a few injections. So I know it was coming. I squeezed my butt muscles together. 😅

I believe if you don't feel the pressure, the Doctor is not hitting the correct spot. I've had a couple that didn't help, I felt no pressure during the injection.

My arrival time tomorrow is 11:45. That's a good sign for me already. That gives me time to take care of my critters and Joe first. They won't let me get it if I don't have someone to "take care" of me. So my son will be with me and drive me home. I'll have people here for the chores that go on around here after 2. I'll have to learn how to delegate 😉 I hope it'll be like they said with no downtime.😊 though.

You need to take it easy for a few days. That doesn't mean you have to stay in bed. Dont go lifting engine blocks out of a car. 😁But you are right, there is no downtime to heal.

I will have to be aware of that. It was over 2 years since I had a injection. Not going to do that again. The last 6 months have not been fun.

Good morning everyone!

Lyn I hope you're okay with the floods.

Natrah
Thanks Natrah, the water didn't reach my street thankfully but it's made a real mess of all the businesses and homes along the high street. All shops shut for a while so that they can clean up, dry out and replace fixtures, fittings and stock. So sad for them, it will have hit some of them really hard 😢. Was your area affected?

Good morning/afternoon all.
We've had quite a pleasant day here after more rain, hail and thunder yesterday - not as bad as Storm Bert though. The clean up in the town is well under way, but it's going to take a while for the shops and local services to reopen.

I've spent the day in the garden. Many of my pots were waterlogged, so I've been unclogging the drain holes and raising them up or emptying some of them for replanting. My crocosmia patch has been cleared of dead leaves and my resident robin has been just feet away from me the whole time keeping his beady eye out for worms. He's a very sociable chap and they are very clever little birds to know that when people are gardening, there's usually something for them.
Lola wandered out to see what was going on but it was too cold for him so he didn't stay long.
I hope you're all having a good Tuesday. TTFN
