It went well. It was over before I knew it even was happening. I think I'll still try to be more careful though. The shot can only do so much. It only helps with inflammation. It doesn't fix the problem.😊
As it turns out today... here I have another appointment next week for the second shot. I'm going to let them even though I'm really not in extreme pain. I think I'll just be like Mr Fre and sleep with one eye open though 😁 IMG_20241203_192817828.jpg

Sorry it took so long, but I have decided to write one song from the album as something to do thanks for your patience. From now on the rest of the albums I make are going to be put in a new thread in off topic chit chat titled as "Send me pics and I will make a song and album cover" It's long but it conveys my point.

"Opo and Mrs. Sully"

(Verse 1)
Out in the sun, where the grass grows tall,
Lives a little old tortoise, slow as a crawl,
Opo’s his name, with a shell full of pride,
He’s got a love in his heart he just can't hide.

He met her one day by the old oak tree,
A sweet little tortoise, as lovely as can be,
Mrs. Sully, with her eyes so bright,
Opo knew right then, she’d be his delight.

(Chorus)
Opo and Mrs. Sully, hand in hand,
Racing through the meadow, across the land,
No hurry, no rush, just taking it slow,
Together they wander, where the love flowers grow.
Opo and Mrs. Sully, the perfect pair,
A love so strong, it’s beyond compare.

(Verse 2)
They’ll share a patch of grass, side by side,
Under the stars, with no need to hide,
Opo might be slow, but his love’s fast and true,
He'll stick by Mrs. Sully, no matter what they do.

Through the storms and the sunshine, they take their time,
In the world of slow, they’ve got a love that shines,
No race to win, just a lifetime to share,
Opo and Mrs. Sully, a love beyond compare.

(Chorus)
Opo and Mrs. Sully, hand in hand,
Racing through the meadow, across the land,
No hurry, no rush, just taking it slow,
Together they wander, where the love flowers grow.
Opo and Mrs. Sully, the perfect pair,
A love so strong, it’s beyond compare.

(Bridge)
They might be big, but they know how to dream,
Under the moonlight, life’s as sweet as it seems,
With Opo’s love and Mrs. Sully’s grace,
They’ve found their home in this slow-paced place.

(Chorus)
Opo and Mrs. Sully, hand in hand,
Racing through the meadow, across the land,
No hurry, no rush, just taking it slow,
Together they wander, where the love flowers grow.
Opo and Mrs. Sully, the perfect pair,
A love so strong, it’s beyond compare.

(Outro)
Yeah, Opo and Mrs. Sully, they’re taking their time,
A tortoise love story that’s one of a kind.
Oh that is wonderful! I have a friend who is a good guitarist. I will see if he can put some notes to it.
Thank you so much, I didn't expect lyrics!😁

Rocky racoon is on the roof dang it. I tagged him several times with my slingshot, then Kerry woke up.

I have some 35ft bear spray...gel, but he's hiding.

Welp, he just came down. We heard the gutter noise so I gave him a spray...hope he stays away.

The can says 35ft. Reality is more like 15.
LOL
Oh my garsh you are trying to win against a bandit that makes a good living breaking and entering just to live...hahaha 🤣 but we'll see. What's bear spray?

Bear spray is like pepper spray you buy for your defense.
Cops use it also to try and apprehend a guy that was being rowdy. At a bar during 1993 Superbowl Sunday. All because of a game of pool.💪💪

I used to watch Ron White before and during the time he collaborated with Jeff Foxworthy( "you might be a redneck if:") and Larry the Cable guy. He is garish, rogue and seems like he'd be a blast to party with.

Google him or watch him on you tube..................but warning.... he swears, a LOT!

Saw a new pulmonary Dr yesterday, local to here instead of 60 miles away where I used to live. He went to med school with my old Dr and my old Dr has long retired.....in other words, this guy is OLD! He's okay but he got me into trouble with Kerry though.

Let me explain......my old Dr knew I smoked weed and didn't make a big deal of it by telling Kerry that I can't possibly smoke enough to hurt my damaged lungs. Not this guy.....he didn't judge but he did rip into my smoking telling me that edibles would be so much better and my cough would go away. Basically, he made it harder for Kerry to accept.
Now Kerry is looking at me sideways when I go outside to partake.....dat muthafkr Doctor!! LOL

I am reflecting today as many of us do one day a year. It's a very selfish reflection.

I made the decision to stop working during a meeting on this day 1 year ago today. They didn't even know it was my birthday. They told me that I needed to alter my work hours to more closely match the hours of the majority of the office. I thought to myself, "F that" and I knew that I would be quitting. Kerry and I finalized the decision over Christmas break.

1 year later;

I stopped work on Jan 3rd and don't miss it even a tiny bit!!
I spent the 40K from Erie insurance that I had hung onto, to complete the mods to my old house over 199 days of hellish work..
I sold a home.
I got married.
I got another house.
I got my wife to also quit working.
Together, we got to take a very cool vacation.
Monday I finally finished my paperwork to get my plumbers union pension. I split it with my ex so it's not much but it only took my 11 months to get the paperwork done!

I will be reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame in honour of the day and the fact that The great cathedral has reopened it's doors to the public again at last, after years of restoration! Hoooray!!!!!!!!!!

I was losing the pool game. We were playing 9ball. The guy cheated by leaning over the table by the corner pocket. With his hand he put a ball in the corner pocket. He didn't think I saw it.I don't really recall the game. I was having to deal with the Keego Harbor cops.

I say try to enjoy retirement the best you can for as long as you can. ..and don't let Medicare make you crazy like it has me. It's a good thing I have to talk to them on the phone because I hate talking on the phone. So I put it off 😁 🐢🐢🐢 and then I can be somewhat civil.😏
