You look very cute and sweet in your pink hat - no-one would believe for a minute that this is the same person who regularly cruelly tortures an innocent elderly tortoise by trying to drown her - shame on you, Natrah ! ! !

Apparently so but looks like only some showers are expected tonight then more during the rest of the week. I'm looking forward to some rain.Thinking of Ray with his appointment and also Marsha. 14th August 1997 my great aunt passed away. 14th August 2008 mum passed away aged 65. 18th August is my birthday and I am now 61 but am aware that I am four years short from being mum's age. 24th August 1999 nana passed away so I always think of them all this time of year
Also Lyn and Angie the remnants of Hurricane Erin are heading out way!

It's great to have a relationship on mutual trust, and leaving some expectations at the door. After all were not joined at the hip, so to speak.Aug 1991 I got sober....
By the following May, I got a invite to try out for an NFL team.....and some folks wonder why I think life is so cool!
Kerry will be driving home from NY this morning....i miss her when she's gone but I love that she can go visit folks without either of us getting all twisted about it. Besides, I don't have to do her families stuff....it works well for us.
1 week till vacation....I'm getting excited
Sapphire is also a Russian. Today even though the air temperature was 72°f his enclosure outside was 90°f. I don't let his inside temps get down to 72°. But I think I will start getting him out later in the year then I always have. Usually his outdoor enclosure is around 20° warmer than the air temperature so it will be so good for him. His enclosure outside gets full sun until about 3:30pm.60F is pretty much my limit, but only if it is sunny. Now that it is cloudy, I don't let Edward out. I really try to maximise his outdoor time. Last year he only got out on 40 days. Also, Edward is a Russian tortoise, which is a really cold hardy species.
Another thing is that the days here are getting shorter, so Edwards enclosure is getting less and less sun each day.Sapphire is also a Russian. I might rethink my time for him to start going outside in the spring also. I just hate to start early because our days can be really warm or snow on the ground and in the same day. Then he's disappointed because he asks everyday to go outside once I start. He tries to stand up as tall as he can for me to pick him up. I don't like telling him no.Another thing is that the days here are getting shorter, so Edwards enclosure is getting less and less sun each day.

I thought it was busy when I got there. When we were leaving, the waiting area looked like a war zone. I am glad we went when we did.I always worry about getting some sort of bug in the waiting room![]()
Gorgeous! Are you sure there aren't anymore RayFinally got a exam room. And just got back from the x-ray. So after the ultrasound, hopefully I will be on my way home.
My neighbor found another baby sulcata yesterday.
I will get a better picture tomorrow. I gave away all the equipment needed to setup a enclosure for a baby sully. I guess I am going to have a emergency enclosure on hand. I don't have a CHE anymore. So I took 2 of those 12hr hand warmers. Put one on the ceiling of his hide. Then I put one lined up on a towel. Then draped the towel over the front opening. It gets in the 70's here at night time. The 2 warmers keep the hide around 88°. I actually bought those warmers if we would lose power. So it would give the tortoises a heat source. But if it got real cold and no powwer. The tortoises would definitely come inside.View attachment 394575
