We'll see about mine. It takes time and the anti viral I hope. I hope you didn't get real injuries and it heals up quickly. And is just a bruise. I can't believe I accidentally bit my finger today. It's ridiculous. With regular teeth it might have been nothing but with dentures it left a blood blister. I was thinking what the heck!!! I can't even eat without having a stupid accident geeeesh....
Oh dear Cathie, I hope you soon recover from all your health problems and manage to avoid adding extra.

Natrah, I will be going to the hospital tomorrow. The leg has not been getting better. With my situation only having one leg. I guess I should find out what is going on. I will keep everyone updated.
Good luck Ray,

If it's to do with blood clots they could give you some medication for it.

Good morning all.
It was a busy night in my garden. The cameras picked up 4 different hedgehogs so there was some argy bargy between them, but I've added another feeding station which gives them a chance to spread out and avoid each other, but my garden is tiny so they're bound to cross paths with each other.

I can't wait to see some rain in the next few days, everything is so dry and dead looking. The poor trees have been shedding their leaves since the end of June because they haven't enough water to support them. It's very worrying. I hope we have a wet autumn and winter now to build up some reserves.

I'll be helping my nephew today at his flat, he will be moving to a brand new place soon and he has a lot of stuff to sort out, so we're making an early start.

I hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.

I must take a photo of the squirrels feeding in the neighbour's birdbath.

Ok guys, I'll say it out loud. Im a little concerned about a couple of you guys!

1st A22, your go-to when you hurt yourself is to call the insurance company? WTH?

2nd Ray, we were on the phone for better part of an hour yesterday and you barely mentioned your injury. WTH??

Lastly, my dear Mr Cathie....fingers are not food, get it now? WTH?

Enjoy the day guys.....lol

Visiting the cemetery takes me a while, I have two neighbors there, two class mates that died in their late teen's/ early 20's, and 10 priests that say prayers for along with my Mom, Dad and youngest brother that was 21yrs old and died on Good Friday, 1985 . . . THAT tore my Mom & Dad up, bad.....

Rose had a bad night. So she didn't get any sleep. She will have lifetime problems with her back. So this morning, I said to her. Just get some sleep. The swelling in# my leg has went down a little. Plus I told her the pain is not as bad. None of that was true. But it worked for awhile. I kept it covered with ice pack all day. So when she saw it this evening. I said, oh jeez looks like the swelling has come back. We better go to the hospital tomorrow. I don't think she believed all the bull s**t. But at least she wasn't chasing me with the broom. 🤣
Please take care of yourself 🙏 you are an inspiration to me. Rose is too. And you slid by one more time didn't you.😉 but I guess this is an example of preacher teach thyself.🤒🤔😜

Here we've had the opposite problem. Too much rain. It caused powdery mildew on the Crab apple tree leaves and the crape Myrtle. Now we're supposed to be really dry for a while. So maybe you can have all that rain ☔ 🌧️ now. I've got to check out hedge hogs on Google sometime just to understand. I've had a grey opossum after crab apples recently along with a ground hog and Mr Fre had an acoliptic fit on both. My squirrel that raids my bird feeder must have babies. When she hangs upside down on the seed block feeder I can see she's nursing. At least that tree is useful for something besides making a mess.

It is a little warmer here with a high of 16 C or 60.8 F, but I am still afraid Edwards days outside are over for this year. After all, we had some hail this morning.
It's interesting to me the difference in temperature and keeping a tortoise outside from where I live. Here when it's 60.8°f I won't put Sapphire outside. Yours though does fine. I guess my question would be do they adapt to the climate they live with.

60F is pretty much my limit, but only if it is sunny. Now that it is cloudy, I don't let Edward out. I really try to maximise his outdoor time. Last year he only got out on 40 days. Also, Edward is a Russian tortoise, which is a really cold hardy species.

Thinking of Ray with his appointment and also Marsha. 14th August 1997 my great aunt passed away. 14th August 2008 mum passed away aged 65. 18th August is my birthday and I am now 61 but am aware that I am four years short from being mum's age. 24th August 1999 nana passed away so I always think of them all this time of year

Also Lyn and Angie the remnants of Hurricane Erin are heading out way!
