Good evening/afternoon all.
I'm suffering today having picked up a really bad cold. I've even had to cancel tomorrow's dental appointment which was for a filling that I've been waiting 2 months for. I now have to wait until December.
Why the bugs couldn't have waited a couple of days before getting me I don't know.
Hopefully they'll go as quickly as they arrived, but I'm feeling very sorry for myself at the moment.
I'm also out of food for Lola, so he'll have to have a late breakfast tomorrow - I don't feel like dragging myself to the shop this dark, cold, damp evening.
I hope everyone is feeling better than me today.

I wish I could come over and fix you up with some chicken soup and hot tea with honey. Sorry you're feeling so bad. Get better quick

Thanks Cathie. Colds are really just a massive inconvenience, but they do make you feel rotten when they start. My nose is either blocked or running like a tap at the moment making breathing and sleep difficult but just have to ride it out and snooze when I can. Chicken soup sounds great!

I have some romaine and pak choy to keep Lola happy until his usual food arrives. I'll see if my nephew can pick some up for me. I don't catch colds very often but when I do they certainly pack a punch.

Just found out that their tenancy is due to end on the 28th November.

Thanks Natrah. .My runny nose seems to have dried up, but now have a chesty cough, which has aggravated my asthma so it's agony when I cough - I ache everywhere. Just following the guidelines for colds - rest, hydration and paracetamol etc. trying to snooze when I can.
How is your cough today?

Slightly better after a better night. My friend was told that if she has to use her inhaler six times she needs to go to hospital so I hope you feel better soon. If you feel worse or need to use your inhaler six times then it might be an idea to go to A and E. The storms not to bad here I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that end of tenancy date for the neighbours on the 28th November. How are your neighbours?

Here's my deck project after day 4

They did the bottom deck today.
I think they need 2 more days to complete, maybe 3 but we have clear weather so this week looks good.
They do good quality work but not all is perfect. The guys here yesterday morning when they framed the lower deck couldn't speak English...so they cut around my sprinkler rather than ask about it. The pic is after i saved it!
I'm not exactly sure what they thought it was but it will be interesting to find out today!

Thank you MS Cathie. The plastic stuff wouldn't fit in here. The guys should finish tomorrow. Today was ceiling day.

They installed the roughin for a light.

LMAO, come visit Ray...we live in the country...there are no restaurants so you are safe....but in spite of my vice of choice I retain a great memory for debt! I may visit you again some day!
