Holy geez, sounds like a concentration camp....yeah, I feel for you.

Got in early to work, Lou Rawls, Cornelius bros, Harold Melvin & the blue notes, Brynn Elliott, some AC/DC....eclectic mix.....rockin and rolling while Brandons taking a long w/e. The one I played over and over today though was Men @ Work 1983..."it's a mistake", go watch the vid, you'll see what I mean. Just a bit apropos today.....

Blue lights in two stores coming in at 4am....Wawa and a 7-11 NOT next to my office for a change. No tape though so hopefully no gunfire was exchanged....nuts.

Going to go to the park with Kerry to play with my modified toys this afternoon. Of course I woke like a little kid on Christmas eve at midnight. It's been like this my whole life. I think it's pretty cool to still be able to see through a child's eye but it can be embarrassing too! It always causes sleep deprivation.

Never played with toys yesterday. Weather was iffy at best so we went for a walk together instead. We will go play today and I need to go to the bank, go grocery shopping, dollar store for Kerry...she wants some swim noodles???

While we were on our walk, we saw 2 bags of Legos on the curb. Kerry goes to the door to ask if they are free for her classroom, I'm waving my arms "NO" behind her.....the guy is laughing and Kerry has no idea why till she turns and catches me.

We carried home 30lbs of Legos

Wow that's a really great find. Especially for a classroom but would be even better for my great grands if I found them that way I could not only get even with my kids I could get their kids too.

You girls will appreciate that when Kerry went home, she stopped by her teacher teammate's house to show her the bin of legos. LOL

OK, DR rant.....I like my new GP Doc(1 year), she's intelligent, seems up to speed and doesn't take my crap, all good things.

I took Kerry to the Dr w/me on Mon. I wanted to get a new breathing med, of course Kerry has a list on her phone that I wasn't aware of until I sat in the waiting room! We go about halfway through all the things that would kill mortal folks and then as she's taking my 115/70 BP, she casually mentions, "You are not managing your kidney disease very well". Kerry and I both looked at her like she had 7 eyes...Whoa, WHAT kidney disease? "Well, your creatinine levels were at 1.39 last year, that's stage 3 chronic kidney disease"

LOL....what the heck did you just say Dr and do you want to rephrase that? I told her "How about, Jeff, why don't you stop taking motrin and Aleive & drink plenty of water for a couple weeks then get your bloodwork done so we can check to see if you really have an issue?"

The other thing of course is that as soon as you go to one Dr, they send you to five of their friends! And today they all think they get to have constant contact with you with their online portals, texts & apps. No, I don't need to "check in" or do anything else online to increase their contact with me and I will never need their "apps". When I show up, I will do it then. Folks seems too easily fooled by a veil of authority.

And what's with this huge "mental illness" push? I was asked by 3 different professionals in her office, including her..."Are you depressed", "do you feel anxiety". Wow, me??! I asked her and she said that over 70% of adults now take some type of head-meds. I suggested that those meds might be the problem! I'm not belittling anyone's real issues, I know they can be devastating for them and their family....but pick your audience Doc.

70%? Gee, what could go wrong with that?

BTW- Paypal closed my Zenni case in my favor & my medical weed Dr called and my card was renewed so I don't have to pay 9% tax. Speaking of taxes, I got my property tax .....the Lord sparest from one tax and the Lord spankith with the other tax.

I was in the worst of moods yesterday...just nasty w/ no patience.....so today has got to be better, I hope!

Don't feel picked on by the doctors. They're doing it to me also. Every time I visit my general practitioner I get asked if I'm a boy or girl. Then it will be what gender do you think you are etc etc. Then they ask if I'm depressed and need a drug to calm me down or pick me up. At that point I kinda am because I have to answer all these questions on some kind of computer pad and I can't see it so it takes me my whole appointment to fill it out. By that time I can't wait to get away from those crazy people. so I say I'm fine.

The Contact is worse than anything to me, now they even send a text; "tell us how we did". I didn't get the gender questions, maybe they can tell? Not telling if I'm boy/girl....maybe they can tell if they ask, I'm going to lite them up for being stupid? I know it's the "new thing" but no, I'm not going to tolerate "stupid" just to be nice. Pretty sure Ray was getting a filter installed this week, hope it's working out. I don't have the jet-pump Ray but I got subnados if you want to play! Watching you being dragged around the water like you are holding a tiger by the tail would be worlds more fun then "dinner with her daughter" tomorrow night! Headed up to Mt Dora Saturday for some exploring the springs. Craig got a new Partybarge ....there's another name, Pontoon boat....so I hope we get a chance to go out Sat or Sun.

I stopped at Pearle vision yesterday to get a real pair of glasses to compliment my newly acquired zenni collection. New Dr since 2020....he has new equipment. Eyes look great with no real changes in 5 yr....whew, the decline has slowed!

Brandons- 250 (a lowball # turned out to be the correct path...he won-closest without going over.)
Kerry- 550

Actual was 461...such a deal! It's all kind of a scam...with or without insurance, it was going to cost the same. At least if these don't fit right, there is someone, a person to work with. The AI @ Zenni is still like......"Intelligence-lite"

Your right Jeff,it doesn't matter if you have insurance or not.
The last pair of glasses Rose got. Cost over 600.00. But Rose wanted a designer frame and insurance doesn't cover that.

I am always getting calls from supposed health workers. Offering me different health benefits I have with BC/BS. I managed to fall for a health professional coming to my house. They went through my med list and asked a few questions. Then all of a sudden BC/BS were giving my doctor some crap about my pain meds. Every time they call now. I say no thank you.
Now I have a monitor in my house. Had to put these sending units on my trelegy inhaler and my oximeter. When I use the inhaler or my oximeter. It sends the info through the monitor. So they can see my oxygen saturation, heart rate. Then they know if I am using my inhaler. Then they are calling my house everyday to talk about my readings. It's been going on for almost a month now. I quit answering my phone.

Got the filter installed on Tuesday. It is out patient and really no big deal.
Go get a MRI tomorrow to bring to my back doctor. Need to get a non evasive procedure on my spine. The trouble is C4,C5 where I fractured my vertebraes in the accident. About once a yr I need a little tune up in that area. I know it's time when I wake up in the morning. Instantly a pain moves from my spine to my forehead. Giving me a migraine for about a hr.
Like Jeff, I am ranting now. Not being able sleep So I will watch forensic files.

Kerry got us hung up at TSA at the airport. Apparently 4- 15"x3" metal cylinders are reason to take them out and chat about what Subnados are. They were good after they saw the vids and I showed them how they worked.....20 minutes later. Plane delayed for 2 hrs.
The Wilmington airport has 1 plane.. .just 1 and 1 "gate area"....smaller than BWI was in 1963.




I wasn't kidding, 1 plane! Mr TSA supervisor was in the booth. They were the best TSA crew ever....no degree of "dickage" for any of them...just decent guys.
