Good afternoon /evening all. It's been another nice day but colder, than yesterday. The rain is back again for tonight and tomorrow though - hopefully just showers.
I've just been busy at home today but I don't seem to have achieved much. I keep getting sidetracked so I must try to finish what I've started tomorrow. Meanwhile I'm going to have dinner. So I hope you're all having a good Sunday and see you later.
That's my motto too. Always put off until tomorrow what could have been done yesterday. It's cool here too. But we're going to have warmer weather Tuesday and Wednesday. Even record breaking. It's supposed to be 80°f. My back yard will record higher because of the direct sun most of the day. I'm glad to get a couple more days of summer like weather. I dred the winter.

There is something very wrong that at 66 and Kerry at 58 ARE JUST LEARNING that you get double tapped with insurance cost at 65. You pay for your own insurance AND you pay medicare for insurance for someone else since you aren't actually getting insurance from Medicare, it's just a tax.

Why don't we know??? How come my financial guys don't even know?? They think that you actually only pay the Medicare fee and they aren't aware that we pay an additional penalty if we made a decent living. Hmmm.

The math tells me to drop it like a bad project. In NO world does this make financial sense. They can charge me an extra 10% per year that I don't carry insurance. It still makes more financial sense to bank 9600 per year.

On another note...look at what Nature returned to me, again!

Wind, bird or squirrel.....thanks guys for taking it out of the tree for me!
Another thing that I hate about Medicare so called "advantage " insurance companies is you only have until December 7th to sign up for the one you will have all year. The problem is they all magically change January 1st and you don't get what you signed up for. The quotes OSHIP quotes me each year are for the year I'm in. They don't apply for next year. You have to go through this ring around the Rosie game every year too to get what you need. It's ridiculous what they are doing to the elderly. Then they have the nerve to make fun of people on the commercials for getting aggravated. Just call me Martha.😝

Good morning Cathie,

I don't know about Lyn but we have sun and rain here and as I am going to London in this weather I hope to see a rainbow. Since losing Daisy🐢 in 2022 at 80 years rainbows have a special meaning.

Good morning everyone,

I am on my way to London having Jacky fast asleep in the pet carrier the temperature in her room dropped to 17 degrees Celsius and I shall see if she emerges. The train has just gone past Hadleigh Castle and anyone familiar with the paintings of John Constable will know that there is a picture of this castle.

I loved it when the Queen got rainbows celebrating her life. They are special to me too.

I wish the U.S. would have a good rail system.

Running errands today...blah but saw this 10 point buck out back this morning. He's here for a reason! Doe a deer, a female deer....20241029_073508.jpg
Cool stuff.

We invited neighbors over for dinner last night. One runs at a Kidney dialysis place in nowwhere Delaware with 47 beds. 45 are now and have been occupied by rotating migrants for over 2 years. No id, no pay. Medicare picks it all up! Every dime.
She said she believes all the sick really are coming for free care. I don't blame them, do you? "Me nombre es jose" isn't a joke, it's a vehicle or strategy for managing healthcare for us, not them...they already got it free. LOL Another way is by using a health service for a set fee of 1500 a yr and I can negotiate directly with refered Dr's if I need them. Still worlds cheaper than the 785 per month total of the Medicare B+ an "advantage" mess. They can have it all to themselves, they built it! LOL
