Oh what a beauty!

I think so but I'm biased. He already had the pyramiding when I got him, but I think I've managed to stop it getting worse. He's grown quite a bit and although tortoise hearing is subject to debate I swear he knows what I say to him.Oh what a beauty!
LMAO, we get to see is if the movie "Idiocy" is going to play now or later. We are right on the cusp of "Stupid".All eyes are on the US today! Must be either an exciting or anxious time for you all. I think the rest of the world is nervous
I agree, feel the anxiety here in Finland too. There has been a lot of discussions here about whether or not Finnish media is too invested in US election or not.Good morning all.

Mortgaging futures.....The math doesn't work, not even close. The masses in their 20's, will never be able to retire yet they don't know it yet....no one has told them and they are far from being bright enough to figure it out. Around 15% will be fine....the rest. ....not so much. They have not planned for the loss of company pensions and many will not accumulate 35 yrs work experience at a high enough level to result in top tier SS checks and will work until they pass.
Good times.....they will no doubt enjoy it, it's what they built.
But we can't forget the most important thing today.. Today, Saturday begins with the letter M!

I am sorry hearing about the loss of your Daisy, I hope you have many cherished memories though.Having a sad day because it's nearly two years since Daisy and my brother whose birthday is today never asks after Jacky or how I have felt since losing Daisy. We are a bit estranged since I cared for dad anyway I have lots of friends.

Remember remember the 5th of November! Gun powder, treason and plot. I fail to see how the 5th of November will ever be forgot!
Good morning all.

I'm off to speak to the manager of a nearby construction company who built a bonfire last July then left it. I'm really worried that hedgehogs etc have nested under it and as it's bonfire night tomorrow they may burn it without checking. I'm hoping they'll let me go and search it tomorrow and remove any wildlife out of harms way.
Hopefully the manager will be sympathetic, if not I may have to resort to breaking and entering.
Have a good day TTFN.
Sounds like you're blaming "the masses in their 20s" ("they will no doubt enjoy it, it's what they built")
If so, you're completely divorced from reality.
"They have not planned for the loss of company pensions" Would have to have company pensions for them to fail to plan for the loss of such.
It's like when the generation that invented "participation awards" so their kids wouldn't be trophy-less losers, later complained about their adult kids being losers expecting participation awards. lol

It wouldn't be so bad if it was just confined to the 5th and restricted to organized events, but people who have bought fireworks have been setting them off for the last 2 weeks and they are so loud! I almost had a heart attack when I was in my garden last week when some numpty set off one in the afternoon which sounded like a bomb. I jumped so much I dropped the bird feeder I was filling.Remember remember the 5th of November! Gun powder, treason and plot. I fail to see how the 5th of November will ever be forgot!
Lyn you might want to bring some rags and ammonia. Soak the rags with ammonia and stick in places they might use. If their in there they will leave. If they have been away from the pile they won't enter. It has worked for me a few times. When skunks or raccoons have tried to setup home under my shed. The idea was given to me from our local animal control.
Good morning all.

I agree about the hearing. I know the sound of my voice. Isn't processed like a human ear. So I believe it's a vibration thing. At anytime wherever Opo is in the yard. Even if he is walking away from me. When I say his name he stops walking. If I continue to call his name. 85% of the time he will turn around and come to me.I think so but I'm biased. He already had the pyramiding when I got him, but I think I've managed to stop it getting worse.
