Is that 'Only You' by Yazoo they came from Basildon, Essex, UK? Ten miles away from me and Alison Moyer studied at Southend College Of Technology like me.

I'm not sure who it's written by. I'm not good with remembering names. But it's a song that got imbedded in my memory for some reason and I can sing along with every word of it. That's probably what makes it such a good song for everyone.

I don't remember having winds that strong and for so long. Red weather warnings are extremely rare but with climate change we've been told it will probably happen more frequently. 😟
Alfie doesn't need an excuse for a cuddle. He loves a tummy tickle. ❤️
I didn't realize Alfie is a Pomeranian. I love that breed. Especially the little mini ones. Mr Fre is a shih Tzu and poodle mix which means a Heinz 57 BUT that includes Pomeranian and another breed that I keep forgetting. Oh well. I got my perfect little doggy. He comes running wiggly all over with a toy in his mouth to every visitor. He loves people. Then screams and cries when they leave. Every one thinks he likes them best 😜 in reality I'm still mommy dearest. They just give me a break from all that energy 😉

The Platters recorded it in the '50s

Yes I remember it used to play on the radio for many years. I didn't watch TV but while growing up the radio was here there and anywhere. I think even in the 60's it was still playing which might be when I was singing along to it. Some of my aunts and uncles were country music fans. I got to hear all the old stuff.😊

Yesterday I saw a pomeranian dachshund mix! It looked like a pomeranian with a long back and short legs. The dachshund genes didn't have a chance!

I think Alfie is bigger than most poms I've seen, he's certainly not a toy breed. Maybe he has more of the original Spitz genes.

Wish we all could come listen to you.
Dear Ray,

I forgot to say that the Carol Concert usually ends with a two minute silence before we tuck into mince pies but one year a lady's phone started ringing and the ring tone was 'Buffalo Soldier'. After the concert I went up to the lady and said "I like Bob Marley as well"!

It's raining, warm and dreary here today....Kerry and I went to see the movie Wicked.
That's the upside...we saw it at the only theater here which has real nice reclining seats but the quality of the film, the resolution was similar to my old plasma tv. Still, they could have left Grande with her own skin tone and the movie would have been much better for it. She looks like the dudes in the movie "White Chicks". Well not really but you get the point!

Gonna close this out and go look for Christmas presents. Kerry is going away this weekend so it will be my chance. I know right? It's not even Christmas eve and here's jeff gettin it done!

Enjoy the day guys...keep making music, even if it's only with your heart!

I can't remember the AM stations I used to listen to. What's funny is lately I've realized that I've always listened to I heart radio stations though. WNCI here is the WINK station in Florida. I could have been listening to yours but they call it something else in another state. Local radio stations maybe broadcast use a broadcasting system on the same system and are a group on the same radio spot like 800. I do remember tuning in around 800. The radios back then were so simple. The tuner was attached to a string. Every once in a while I had to fix mine because the string broke. It's amazing how far we've come.😊

Mr Fre has the body shape of a poodle but hair like a Shih Tzu. He doesn't look like a little lion though. When his hair is a little longer he looks like a teddy bear. I'll bet the dog you saw was adorable.😊 What I love about Pomeranian dogs is they don't look like dogs so much. They look like little creatures 🤗
