Mr Fre has the body shape of a poodle but hair like a Shih Tzu. He doesn't look like a little lion though. When his hair is a little longer he looks like a teddy bear. I'll bet the dog you saw was adorable.😊 What I love about Pomeranian dogs is they don't look like dogs so much. They look like little creatures 🤗
I just met up with my sister and brother in law to hand Alfie back to them, so he's on his way home - I'll miss him, and our walks.
The only thing I won't miss is the fuss he makes when we're out in the car. He's fine when we're moving but as soon as we stop he goes mad to get out - even at traffic lights if he hears the handbrake. You'd think he was being murdered, and he scratches at the window in desperation. He's always done it and we've all tried to train him to wait quietly but no joy. I think they call it separation anxiety. He barks if you leave him in a room and shut the door - only briefly and then he settles down, but everyone knows when Alfie's arrived in the car!

Thanks for the thoughts Ray but they seem to be looking for TOTAL FINANCING, not overnight fees!
They say they use the overnight fees. To maintain the lighthouse. They also want volunteers to stay a week. They have serve the guests and work on the lighthouse.

Bye bye, Alfie!

Mr Fre is just like that. As soon as I turn off the car he starts crying. I can't take him anywhere in public yet because he barks so much. They even take us in a room at the veterinary right away because of it 😜 what they don't understand is that he loves everyone. He is so excited that he'll wiggle himself to death if they acknowledge him. Here at home he runs and finds a toy to show every visitor that dares to enter. It's ridiculous.

Fatbergs are common at Blue Plains treatment plant in Anacostia just below NRL outside of DC proper. I once saw one over 5' in diameter. Solid like a ball of very cold wax! Smelled great, less filling! LOL There is actually a device to break them up as the enter the plant from the 60" diameter sewage lines that run across the Anacostia river, under Bolling AFB to the plant. They don't really get big until like in your picture, the sewage finds a place to "rest" instead of running through a smaller pipe and coagulates.

It's cold here at the Nook this morning, 21F. Kerry is leaving for NY this morning for a couple of days. We had some neighbors over for coffee and cake last night. The girl that moved a few weeks ago was celebrating her birthday so Kerry made her a cake once she found out the girl was coming over to pick up her Amazon package. It was nice and relaxed and the cake, gluten free was actually pretty good. One of the neighbors is on that diet so Kerry customized for her.

I'm playing tv roulette. You know, take down the one in the LR to move to the BR but first move the one in BR to a different BR, then figure out how to mount old LR tv in BR(because the existing LR mount holds new tv). It's cool though, I'm in no rush and the heaviest is mounted so Kerry can leave without worrying that I'm going to frag another TV, remember that gem of a story a couple years ago? LOL

If you are ever in the need of wall mounted brackets. Buy them on FB, you get the exact brackets like Wal-Mart might sell. Except a lot cheaper. I needed a corner wall mount that swiveled. At the time Wal-Mart was 120.00 and Amazon was 40.00. Same company, make and model. Same as the regular wall mounted brackets. 80 or 90 dollars at Wal-Mart 25 to 35 at Amazon. It's been 6 years since I bought a bracket. So not sure if things have changed.
