You guys weren't done remodeling your house when the accident happened though, right? How did you ever get it completed?

Good morning all.
We've had a drop of rain this morning with more to come over the next few days, but the good news is our temps are set to rise. So at least it will be warmer.
Lola had a little wander outside yesterday and his first nibble of fresh plants for a long time - he found some new forget me not leaves, but I didn't let him eat too much.
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. TTFN

Here in Southend we have the longest pleasure pier in the world and during the fifties mum and dad used to go ballroom dancing at Victor Silvester's at the end of the pier.Wow!!! Soooo beautiful

He is and quite tame. He follows me around the garden and he's almost close enough to take food from my hand, but he's not brave enough to make that last hop yet.Wow!!! Soooo beautiful
Very cute flock. My phone is small so I didn't see them the first time. I see them now by zoom.
They are called turnstones because that's what they do - flip stones to look for food, but they eat all sorts of stuff.

No the house was complete. When we came back from Michigan. We were going to put on the market. The house was intended to flip. On our way home from Michigan is when we had the accident.
Our auto insurance retrofitted the house. To accommodate what I needed. It was about 80,000 dollars. They added on to the back of the house. To make the master bathroom bigger to accommodate my wheelchair. Also a nice big roll in shower. Wider doors thru out the house and a sidewalk from the backdoor to the front. I guess code is to have to exits to get safely out of the house. Plus the nice wide concrete wheelchair ramp with railings at the front of the house.
For the last year or so. I don't let Opo in the house. He is to heavy and his feet slide on the wood floors. I don't want him to hurt himself. Before he knew where the kitchen and refrigerator was.Plus Ray…. Those ramps are amazing to have to bring Opo in and out of the house!!
