Another hot day here @22C or so. From cold to hot, hot to cold. Tomorrow a nasty cold front moving in.

Here too. Yesterday it was in the low 70's . Today 44°f and going down. We could get snow tonight. But spring is springy.
Sapphire came out today and yesterday to eat when I went in his room. He knew his salad had arrived.
and trotted right over. He's been out and about in his enclosure now and then since actual spring when the ground warms up.. I think he knows it's the spring 
with sprouts now.
Yeah, the past 2 days have been pretty nice here. Matt is outside again today.
He already dug in for the night but I'm going to take him back in for the next couple days.
Took another ride today on one of the motorcycles. It's nice here because there are a lot of country roads.
Yesterday we installed 150lf of underground pipe for 2 added huge sprinklers but it doesn't work. The line and valves work correctly but it's dribbling out. These are 49-65' radius heads. I think there is well-trash in the line. Disappointed and a little upset but hey, at least I have the time to remedy the mess.
I came out here on the deck around this time last night and saw Rocky racoon passing 35' away from me but I didn't have my phone. Maybe he will show up.
He already dug in for the night but I'm going to take him back in for the next couple days.

No one can get into Heathrow today due to a fire at a substation. Flights have been diverted to other airports both here and in Europe and some people have ended up in Canada. I wouldn't mind going to Canada!

Heaven knows where any relatives from Malaysia will end up! I remember being told about a British Airways strike before flying back from Hungary and saying "I wouldn't mind another night here"!

I think the true color for St. Pats day is orange. I read it before, I will have to Google it.Same to you Cathie. The Irish sure know how to celebrate their patron saint. The Welsh government are talking of following their lead and making St David's Day a holiday, seems a bit late really.
At least they would have had a ride in a plane - travellers from the UK couldn't get off the ground! ,
Very frustrating for them. Hopefully all back to normal tomorrow.

We've had some heavy rain here this evening, which is good as it's been quite dry lately and will be needed across Wales.
There are several wildfires in different parts and looks like they were all deliberately started and coordinated by the usual scum for their mindless entertainment.
I hope they track down the people responsible - it shouldn't be too hard as they're obviously not very intelligent.
It breaks my heart thinking of all the animals killed by them.
Hopefully the rain will help the fire fighters gain control.

just some badly needed rain and the temps headed up today. We got to the low 60s. It was nice enough for me to stick my nose out the door and go to the bank.

Looks like blue was used first. Then they adopted green in the 18th century. Reason was supposedly St. Patrick used a three leaf clover (Shamrock)to explain the Holy trinity to the Irish. Looks like orange comes in a soft 3rd.
