I'm going crazy over plantain lately
I have tried to like cooked plantain several times over the years as I've traveled to places where they grow.

I've come to the conclusion that they are only a "treat" where nothing better is available. LOL Good for you though.

We have the Tea Party reenactment in town today. No, not reenacting our loved Tea Party of 2009 when we disrupted the Status Quo by flipping 63 seats in the House but the original one. Did you know that folks in Chestertown and Annapolis also boarded ships to dump Tea as they were doing it in Boston Harbor? They coordinated all that without the internet!

We took her dad into town for the opening ceremonies after picking up his car from the shop..

Enjoy the day guys...

Yea well... I'm finding interesting ways to use them. They make a crispy little tortilla bowl etc if you fry them right . And twice sometimes... it's complicated 😜😊

Hope you're okay with your neighbours @Lyn W

Natrah
Same old noisy nonsense from them. I just wish they had a mute control so that I could enjoy my garden without having to hear them. Even the rain and high winds we're having at the moment hasn't kept them in. They've put a gazebo up that almost covers all their yard so they stay out till late. Hopefully the novelty will wear off. They've put lights all the way down their fence on both sides so It looks ike a landing strip so I'm a bit worried a Boeing may mistake it for the local airport and take us all out! 😉

We picked Boysenberries today, LOTS of them. This took 5 minutes to gather with a clean tarp and give the branch a shake!

And this is what Kerry did with them:

I can't wait for dinner!
I have never heard of boysenberries. I wonder if they're called something else here. I'll ask Google.......
Discovered this -
'They are a cross between loganberry, raspberry, blackberry, and dewberry' - I've learnt something new today.

Its definitely Summer, but not temperature wise. Another cool evening & day. But, we grilled ribs & corn.
Aren't you the person that grew plantain or cooked it? When you talked about it I thought you were talking about English plantain at first. (The weed) Well I've finally seen a demonstration of how to fry the other type. The fruit/veggie. I'm in love.

I've heard of boysenberries but never had the pleasure of trying them. And wouldn't know if I found some somehow.😊
