Speaking of Kerry. I did a bad thing to her yesterday evening. She parks her car under a 12x20' white canopy with 8 legs. I have set it up so at night a light inside the canopy comes on for her. Pretty nice right?

Last night as she's backing in.....lets chat about this for a second because it brings into focus what she was hearing. The new cars beep loudly for a front bumper, rear bumper, just because proximity alarms. It's an audio sh*tshow inside the car when she's backing up with the 8 legs of the parking structure.

So as she's backing up, I sneak in where I know she won't be looking and I slam the car....WHAM! Then I wait for her to find me on the exterior cameras as she's having a heart attack......

Yeah, that was probably bad huh?

Oh come on, it was funny as heck....of course she claimed that she knew it was me....but that car sure stopped in a hurry telling me otherwise! LOL

Good morning/afternoon all.
We are sweltering here with worse to come over the weekend when temps will reach between 88 - 90F
Lola is loving it and is stretched out in his favourite spot at the moment, but I can't bear to be out in the heat, so I'm only going to venture out as early as possible.
Many areas of the UK now have a hosepipe ban because water levels are so low.

I heard some good news today. My nasty neighbours are going away next week so that will be a good break for me too.
Mr Yob is still ranting about his ex employers out in his garden at the top of his voice most days using some very colourful language - I'm wondering if I should contact the Guinness World Record people for the most number of swear words used in a sentence 😏.
So I can't wait for some peace and quiet..
I hope the weather is more comfortable where you are.

Bless you guys in the heat across the pond. We are in a reprieve today....70's!

My "tree guys" are here today! The guy came by in early June and I showed him hat I needed done and we agreed on a price. He said, "we will call you in a couple of weeks.

We now know what "a couple of weeks" on the Shore means.....6! LOL I'm not complaining, I just hope they get done before more torrential downpours come!

I'm glad you're drying out in Texas now.
We're just not used to these high temps in the UK. Our average temps for July are usually between about 68 - 73F and that's hot enough for me!
Thanks goodness, no rains here since Tuesday! Hopefull everything will be dried soon!!!!
Omce I was in London in winter time and it was nice!
