Good afternoon everyone!

It is my elder nephew's birthday today and so Jacky (Jacqueline) is enjoying the last of the strawberries. I am gradually winding her down for hibernation now and she was not interested in the other food until I brought the strawberries!

Lola would love strawberries but I am very strict with him and his sugar intake so unfortunately for him I won't share. He has had lots of lovely dandies, ribwort and broadleaf plantains this week though - thanks to Tilly and her walks I've found a lot more than usual. There's still some lovely weeds around so making the most of them.

Dear Lyn and Angie,

I bet you've both got awful weather here it is a total contrast to yesterday when Jacky and I were both outside.

Natrah
It's been raining here all day. Tilly and I managed a quick walk in the drizzle, before the heavy showers arrived. We have a weather warning for strong winds this evening and during the night - looks like they'll be about 45 + mph and 55+ mph on Sat/Sun. Thanks to Storm Amy. It's nice of the US to send the remnants of their weather systems over! 😀
Hope it's not too bad when it reaches you, Natrah.

Just wet and miserable here Lyn. Hope you're okay.

What a cutie.! Is he in your yard? Florida has some beautiful frogs. My favorite are the little tree frogs. The only time I'm not crazy about them is if they try to land on me. I had several episodes of that when I lived in Florida.🤣 They seem to like me too.

It's certainly very blustery here! Some parts of Scotland had 96 mph winds recorded then they lost contact with the weather station. The rain has eased but weather warnings for the wind are still in place.
Tilly and I will try to get out for a little walk later, but away from trees.
It's her last day with me as the travellers return in the early hours of tomorrow and they can't wait to see her and I'm sure she'll enjoy being able to run around her own huge garden again.
I hope you enjoy your Saturday. TTFN

Dear Lyn and Angie,

I hope you two are okay. It is very blustery here and we are in a yellow weather warning. I am about to email my diary of the neighbour's September activities to the landlords and also to phone my local bus company about leaving passengers stranded at a bus stop for forty-minutes at Rayleigh last night. A Not In Service bus turned before the expected bus was cancelled! Four of bus stood at the bus stop in miserable weather!

Temps are changing here too but nothing like over across the ocean. Remember that if you hear a branch crack above your head I suggest that you react without looking up. Most branch strikes are directly in the face! Most folks that don't live in the woods don't know that.

I saw a beautiful Red Fox come running into the back yard to play with the deer! Around 7am...here is Mom at the window to say "hi" and right after I put my phone down and met Kerry in front of the sliding door, the fox came out and ran in between and around the 3 younger deer that were in the middle of the yard while they prance in response...it was so special that neither of us reached for a camera....it was just cool!

Good afternoon/evening all.
It's been quite a windy day again, but much calmer that it was and at least it was dry.
My sister's family are home so Tilly has gone back to them and she was really excited to see them. They took her for a way today and she was allowed off her lead so she was very happy.
I've missed her today and our walks.

I hope everyone is having a peaceful Sunday.

We call those branches "widow makers".
