Her family lives in Las Pinas. Just outside of Manila.Where is her family?
I am watching the TV show "Almost Paradise ", and it takes place in Cebu. It's so beautiful there. But the crime rate is high.

Lola would love strawberries but I am very strict with him and his sugar intake so unfortunately for him I won't share. He has had lots of lovely dandies, ribwort and broadleaf plantains this week though - thanks to Tilly and her walks I've found a lot more than usual. There's still some lovely weeds around so making the most of them.Good afternoon everyone!
It is my elder nephew's birthday today and so Jacky (Jacqueline) is enjoying the last of the strawberries. I am gradually winding her down for hibernation now and she was not interested in the other food until I brought the strawberries!

It's been raining here all day. Tilly and I managed a quick walk in the drizzle, before the heavy showers arrived. We have a weather warning for strong winds this evening and during the night - looks like they'll be about 45 + mph and 55+ mph on Sat/Sun. Thanks to Storm Amy. It's nice of the US to send the remnants of their weather systems over!Dear Lyn and Angie,
I bet you've both got awful weather here it is a total contrast to yesterday when Jacky and I were both outside.

What a cutie.! Is he in your yard? Florida has some beautiful frogs. My favorite are the little tree frogs. The only time I'm not crazy about them is if they try to land on me. I had several episodes of that when I lived in Florida. Her you go Cathie, I know you like frogs.View attachment 395721

Temps are changing here too but nothing like over across the ocean. Remember that if you hear a branch crack above your head I suggest that you react without looking up. Most branch strikes are directly in the face! Most folks that don't live in the woods don't know that.
I saw a beautiful Red Fox come running into the back yard to play with the deer! Around 7am...here is Mom at the window to say "hi" and right after I put my phone down and met Kerry in front of the sliding door, the fox came out and ran in between and around the 3 younger deer that were in the middle of the yard while they prance in response...it was so special that neither of us reached for a camera....it was just cool!
