Looked like a police chase then he got boxed in. Perhaps the lawnmower man was speeding! Great video

I've had to watch this again as it's so funny ! The poor bloke is trying to figure what to do with Opo before he notices Ms Sully. It's like double trouble ! I think the two of them have collaborated together!

Unless it's an urban myth the founders of Lidl and Aldi are apparently brothers who used to be in business together but had a big fall out so they are now in competition with each other. In the UK where one goes the other follows. Lidl are going to build a new superstore near me, just across the road from Aldi. I'll be spoiled for choice.

Well the brother Lidl hasn't caught up yet in my home town darn it. Hopefully Lidl will get wind of it.

So, Jeff, did they penetrate your old roof with the ridge beam and ledger, Or just overlay over your existing roof?

They cut through the existing roof to tie it in with some type of metal device. Then is looks like 2 adjacent 2x6" laying flat to pin it in.
They notched every pier connection top and bottom. Every roof hoist is also notched. Quite impressive since all I have them was a plan view sketch of what we wanted, no details. I didn't tell them how to do it...so this is all them. Pretty cool.

The house is a cape cod so when he was connecting to the existing roof and I was in the upstairs bathroom he was RIGHT outside! I wanted so bad to "knock back" when he was banging away but I resisted those intrusive thoughts for a change.

Kerry's son sold that raggedy boat parked next to our home for 3 yrs. The guy was driving it to Fla with it. God bless him....and thank you! We helped him get it out and I donated a good quality strap to hold the 13' Boston Whaler to its trailer. Woo hoo!

Nanay, Rose and I played bingo this evening. We each won a game but the game Rose won was a progressive game. Not sure how many weeks since someone won. But it paid out 950.00. So total we won 1100.00. There were 8 friends of Rose's playing also. We were at the same table. So Rose gave them each 20 dollars.

Here's my deck project after day 4

They did the bottom deck today.
I think they need 2 more days to complete, maybe 3 but we have clear weather so this week looks good.
They do good quality work but not all is perfect. The guys here yesterday morning when they framed the lower deck couldn't speak English...so they cut around my sprinkler rather than ask about it. The pic is after i saved it!
I'm not exactly sure what they thought it was but it will be interesting to find out today!

Good evening/afternoon all.
I'm suffering today having picked up a really bad cold. I've even had to cancel tomorrow's dental appointment which was for a filling that I've been waiting 2 months for. I now have to wait until December.
Why the bugs couldn't have waited a couple of days before getting me I don't know.
Hopefully they'll go as quickly as they arrived, but I'm feeling very sorry for myself at the moment.
I'm also out of food for Lola, so he'll have to have a late breakfast tomorrow - I don't feel like dragging myself to the shop this dark, cold, damp evening.
I hope everyone is feeling better than me today.

That's the kind of stuff I'm going through with the African person in my house. Our cultures are so different. Even if they do speak some English. They don't understand what I'm saying and I can't understand their accent either. So I'm trying to play a bad game of charades like I do with Joe at the same time. Sometimes we understand each other and it can become hilarious at that point
