Had a nice staycation last week! Went kayak fishing and caught a bunch of catfish that I did not keep from the James River since the state has a website that monitors the amount of feces in the river. Of course I forgot my pliers one day so i had to kick the catfish of the hooks! Sunday was Pho day it was so tasty!. Also I put a new aquastat on my boiler that is 27 years old so hoping for at least 25 more! Hope your are safe Tammy!

So you fish but also read the Va contamination levels? Do you do the same in Maryland? My son is an attorney who has a legal case and he is actively looking for Maryland fishermen/watermen who have altered their catch based on the MDE reports. Maybe this is in your wheelhouse? Or you know of someone or a club who does fish or crab or oyster(we have to add that cause we have more than fish and crabs) that checks those reports?

Yes, I still have some Harvest spiders in my yard. It's amazing to see them grow so rapidly over just a couple of months 9 From a speck to 2" (50mm)....I live in an older neighborhood, so we do not get any trick or treaters any more. When I moved here over 30 yrs ago we would get 30 to 40 kids, but last 10 years or so, it's been 1 or 2, now it's none..Just letting everyone know that I don't need to decorate for Halloweenbecause I've found a massive cobweb

Hi Natrah, I'm ok thanks. Still suffering with an awful cough which is exhausting but managing to snooze in between bouts of coughing and nodding off every time I sit down I think I may have had the new strain of COVID because that starts with a really sore throat which I had. I usually have a dry throat before colds but it was so bad i thought it was closing up, and was a bit worried but that only lasted the first couple of days. I'm not as achy now so think I've turned a corner.
I have been thinking of everyone affected by the hurricane in the Carribbean especially Tammy and I hope she got through it relatively unscathed.
I'm catching up with a few days worth of your posts and I hope everyone here is well.
Good news about your neighbours Natrah. Let's hope it happens this time.
