Thankyou Marsha. We don't really celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK but we hope you all enjoy yourselves. My noisy neighbours are meant to be moving out tomorrow so I hope to celebrate that but meanwhile I was in my hometown of Leigh-On-Sea today and I bought the items below. The two big tortoises are replacing the ornaments that were lost when in storage three years ago alongwith the Victorian nutcracker.

My Stuffed Thanksgiving Turkey, Rotisseried on my 22" Weber Grill 14# (6.3Kg) took 2 Hrs 20 min to cook. Gonna eat like a queen tonight, and care packages for my friends,,,

It's been nice thanks. And happy Thanksgiving to everyone here. I spent the day cooking a 13 lb Honeysuckle turkey I found for $5. I even got the gumption to make homemade egg noodles after that blessing. I'll freeze some, make turkey salad, etc and eat some for leftovers tomorrow. Yee haa! I won't have to cook or decide what's for dinner for 1 day at least I'm thankful

Oh, it's the best, moist & falls off the bone, hence all the string holding it together while cooking . . . I never got around to cooking one last years as my dear Penny had just passed. So this one is for her!

Unfortunately no nibbler boat for me, but I have driven a car on one of these ice roads on top of a lake. Here is an example of what one looks like:

In Michigan we would drive our vehicles on the frozen lakes to get to our ice fishing shanty's

Well it's 3:25 am here. Rose is leaving for Prague, so she is waiting for a Uber. She will be leaving he we here about 4:30am. Her friends and her are going on a 10 day cruise on the Danube river. Not sure what all countries they are visiting. It was our plans to do this together. But after the accident I can't fly on a jet that long because of the fear of blood clots. Plus it is such a hassle for me getting on and off planes. Another issue is many countries don't have a infrastructure for handicap accessibility. Here in the U.S. we have the ADA( American Disability Act). Every country Rose has been to so far. Would have been impossible for me to navigate. She puts up with me all year,I am sure she enjoys the time away. I will try and send pictures when I receive.

Last night wasn't too bad and to celebrate my friends and I went to see Fawlty Towers The Play at the Cliffs Pavilion. Angie and Lyn do you remember the Fawlty Towers television series. The other photo doesn't do justice to the beautiful sunset.

Yes I remember it well but I wasn't a big fan. I think I appreciate it more now when I see short clips of it, but farces in general aren't my cup of tea. I hope you enjoyed the play.
