Dr. this morning said he didn't look too good first thing this am, but as the morning progressed, he improved.
They put him on Blood Pressure med's to lower his blood Pressure, thus making it easier on his heart.

That you and Woodie get some more time together. That's what scared me about getting a little dog the most. Even though they can live close to 20 years, it's not long enough.

We've had high winds all this week. I don't hardly dare to go outside even. I have a hard time standing up in it. We even lost power for a few hours on Friday. We were one of the lucky people because some people in Ohio still don't have power. Due to the recent rain, snow and ice (probably) trees are down all over. Even semi's were blowing over. Today the winds are picking up again and supposedly we have big storms coming and then snow again. I can't remember if March came in like a lamb but I sure hope not because it's roaring like a lion so far. I hope all this calms down real soon.

Sapphire was waiting by his food tile this morning. He thinks it's spring and wants to go outside sooo ...bad. And it is. We just have another hurdle to go thru. Hopefully not much more. It was still snowing a little the day I got him. That was May of 2007.

We are supposed to get some whacky weather today along the Atlantic Coast.
It's warm at 66f this morning but breezy. We seem to be fairly well protected here at the Nook but there's a lot of exposed farmers up the road so I hope it's not too bad.

We went to a St Patrick's day party on Sat. Those Irish get half drunk every year and lite a huge fire....and that's the chicks!

These gals don't mess around but Nancy is "anti-gasoline" so we know there's room for improvement on the fire size! LOL


It's a good group and it's always good for me to be around people once in a while so Kerry takes me out.

Im glad i got out before the rain to get Matt some goodies from the forest. It's that small rain....10 zillion tiny drops. I call it Hurricane-rain.

I had a bit of sad news in that a friend who was diagnosed with a brain tumour a year ago has passed away. She was in a nursing home and now she is free of pain and is flying high.
