I have been doing some garden planning to start some seeds next month. When I came back from the store today, I realized that I got the wrong marigolds! (the non-tortoise safe ones).

Smoked? Yes, for about 6 months when I was in the 6th grade, Hung out with a guy that protected me from the school bully's. When we transitioned to Jr. High, we lost contact, and thus I stopped smoking.
I do have a wood burner, in my home that I have used for 30 years, but my partner who passed in 2024 who live here for 17 years had NO Breathing problems. Dr. suggested I NOT use the wood burner, which I haven't this last winter, instead 2 electric space heaters..
I believe as a "catch all" ("insert" they don't know) the Dr says I must be genetically predisposed to emphysema.

I think that there is a certain portion of people with ephysema who haven't smoked but it is a small part.

You probably are genetically predisposed. But if you start using the electric ones mostly you'll need humidifiers too. Even the oil filled dry out the air. My lung doctor recommended it last visit. The thing is I already do. My taught me the importance of the proper humility for human and critters

So a good thing happened last week. I got an email from Cap 1 asking if i bought something from a certain company. I responded that I had bought a foam mattress topper. Cap 1 said....yeah, no...they aren't sending you anything. They are scumballs and here's your 70 bucks back.
1st time "they" caught it before me. Maybe there's hope afterall? Now if we can just get voter id i will know there is. LOL

Here the yearly tests are only for cars that are over 10 years old. When a car is first registered, it will be tested after 4 years. After that first test, the car will need to be tested every 2 years (up until the car turns 10 years old). But cars that are over 40 years old have to be tested only every 2 years. Don't ask me why!

UK cars are test free for their first 3 years but then they have to be done annually after that.

Isn't she pretty. I've never gotten to see a picture of her before. I still can't remember though darn it. I still think my prayers will work through. Something made me start thinking of her even before I heard about the flooding there.

My brother in law was recently told he has emphysema even though he has no symptoms - it was picked up during investigations for other things. His father had it so It seems that is genetic.
My dad had it too, so maybe there's a connection between that and my late onset asthma but it's never been mentioned. I've never smoked In my life.

Sorry I haven't been here. I've caught a slight cold or something... allergy maybe. It's that time of year. I haven't had a lot of energy. But I've had enough to be lurking

Maybe, but the seed pack was only 0,39 euros (that is 0,45 USD or 0,34 GBP). The best before date isn't until 2028, maybe I can give it to someone though my mother isn't starting seed this year.
