Well, I gret to take it easy today, distracted, yes, maybe I will get there. Yesterday was Busy, shower, me and my house pigeon, did my monthly 'wash my truck" the deal I made to myself when I got the F-150 Lightning, then Bird Dr. appointment@ 2pm for 3 of my kids (remember, bring tasty snacks, my kids told me), that's a hours drive away, to, and from. Then visit with with some friends (and a lil libation) that live 10 minutes away from the dr's office. Then rush home @ 6:30 to start evening chores, Finally was able to sit down with an adult beverage and have dinner @ 8:45, to bed by 10pm.
Arg, such a long day.....

Good morning everyone!

Cathie I'm just letting you know that I saw a pair of Long-Tailed **** flying over the flat for the first time ever. These birds are small with long forked tails and they are black, white and pink!

Natrah
Ok you'll have to learn a new name for the little Long Tailed,,**** that passes inspection. 🙃Is it Long Tailed **** 😁?

Just …. Wow!
I’ve had days like this and they….stink.
Glad you had your adult beverage;
although one thing I would have done differently is….
Had TWO …adult beverages.. 😬

MG overachiever again! Good for you. I have a 150 lightning question....prob the same one you've answered 1000 times before so sorry up front. I have a '16 Expy so similar basic frame..... so how many miles on a charge???

So I feel like such a pig today....remember that 12volt cooler we got for our trips? Well, we have a small fridge and Kerry fills it with useless various green things that take up all the space...LOL At the grocery store I wanted watermelon. I LOVE watermelon....

LOL...some guys keep beer in their garage fridge....im way cooler than that!

Tomorrow we plan on a "test run" in the car with the cooler filled for a picnic, the cargo basket installed in the trailer hitch and both bikes inside the big bag ratchet strapped to the basket.....then we are going back to Horseshoe Beach!

I hope the bikes don't fall off or bounce around. It will be a "learning experience" where we will lock it down and roll...we have confidence!

It's beautiful out here again today. Kerry finally saw fawn an hour ago at the afternoon feeding after 2 days of misses. Yesterday we rode next to a opossum as he saddled towards his home. He was 25 feet from us for around 50 yds. It was apparent that he wanted to cross the path we were on and every 20 yards he would stop and give us the granny look...as if to say WTH? We slowed down to stop and let him get on with his day. Found the 4th box turtle in our yard in a month...all different females. Some things just make the day of a little kid who loves turtles!

Enjoy the day!

Watermelon is one of my favorites too. Especially on an outing in the summer. It's hydrating no matter how you have it. It blends well for great icey fruity drinks too. 😊

Jeff K. I have a 23' Lightning XLT, with the SD battery, 98kWh, the XR is 131kWh. My life time avg. for 7,500mi (12,000km) is 2.36 Mi/kW so, about 230 Mi per full charge (68 MPGe) In relation to other EV's is on the low end, but it's like driving a brick down the road. Relatively big flat front end, so there is a fair amount of wind resistance. It has a 9.6kw power bank that can be hooked up to my house in the event of a power failure. and . . For a F-150, it is crazy fast. rated 3.8sec - 0 to 60, and 12.2sec in the 1/4 mile (106mph)

Plus some young robins still being taken care of by their parents. I've seen 2 so far 😊🥰 I didn't know they are still speckled at that age.

LMAO....3.8?? I've got a garage full of "go fast" things and that's pretty fast for any civilian vehicle! My Expy weighs 6000lbs and it's dual turbos do an admiral job of launching it when it's pedal is mushed but nowhere near those numbers...you must laugh nonstop when you "let yourself follow intrusive thoughts". Also, if 250 mile range works for you, good for you. A fast, reliable truck that fits your life. Sounds pretty good. Ohhh here comes mama deer..i tried to get a pic but she bolted across the yard to chase another deer off...there's Rocky raccoon waddling back home...and someone is playing in the woods just out of sight. Too early for squirrels so maybe mama deer caught her friends?? Getting a pic wasn't an option for either im afraid...jeff was too slow and it's a bit dark.

Today we go to the beach...yesterday was dr visits...no wonder i had forgotten. Lol
I woke at 2am like a little kid...

I've noticed that since our Fox couple died off due to Mange (camera saw 1 had it real bad) and the cats a few blocks away have all been captured and neutered...we have Bunnies! I thought the increase was just local but everywhere we go seems to be the same this year!

Enjoy the day guys....

Hope you're having a good day at the beach Jeff. Not beach weather here unfortunately. It's more like red Autumn.

Good morning/afternoon all.
It's pretty miserable here again with cold winds and rain. It is supposed to warm and dry up for the weekend though🤞.
I spent 4 hours at my nephew's flat today. He finally bought a tumble dryer so I waited for delivery.
Blimey you need a master's degree in technology these days to use a modern one. It's all digital, with wi -fi controls for remote operation, why the heck people need that I don't know! 🤷. It took us a little while to work it out. I told him he didn't need to pay for installation as you just plug it in - boy was that a mistake! Anyway it's up and running and so far working ok.
My tumble dryer belonged to my mum and was bought in the 80s.
It has 3 controls - full heat and half heat buttons and a dial for the time. Still works without any problems. They don't make 'em like they used to!!😀
I hope you're all having a good day. TTFN.

We were talked into getting a replacement tumble dryer which uses a lot less electricity - we were not told that it would leave the washing heavily creased, hard, and scratchy - and covered with fluff. Also it takes many hours to dry. I absolutely hate it, and have been looking at alternatives. I particularly hate the scratchiness, as I am somewhat unsafe and shaky using an iron, and that's the only way to improve the texture. I have seen one new one which claims that you hardly need to iron anything,so I will research it more !

I got fed up of looking at them. My nephew had to have a condensing or heat pump tumble as it was supposed to be fitted in a cupboard in his hallway. He dried some towels while I was there and it took 2 rounds of a 48mins programme - longer than my old machine.

He bought a Hoover because of Aquavision where the water collects in a door tank which is easier for him to empty. Most of them have tanks at the bottom and he is so big he finds bending difficult.

It has actually had to go in his kitchen because although it would fit in the cupboard with his w/m, the door frame was narrower than the cupboard so he wouldn't have been able to open the tumble door - yet another impractical design feature!🙄

Good luck with your search, Angie.

Hi Ray, Opo, It's good to hear from you, and that things are going well enough to work on a MC.
BTW, can I ask what you are working on?
It is a 1974 yamaha RD350. @jeff kushner here on the forum was kind enough to give it to me.(I think)🤣🤣
Actually it was very very kind of him. He even hauled it to me from Maryland to FL. He stopped at @Maro2Bear house in Maryland and picked up Mark's sulcata Ms.Sully also. So Ms.Sully is enjoying the Florida weather now. All on his dime, he wouldn't let me pay for anything. Gas, hotel or renting a uhaul trailer. The man is really wealthy. 🤣🤣

Wow, pretty nice, Ray. I had the frame of my 58' Tiger T-110 Powder coated years ago.
I think Jeff.K gets the Heebie Geebies and just has to get out there and explore. I don't have the $$ or the time/ability to do that, so he's pretty lucky in that aspect...
