Hi everyone.

I’ve read a few horror stories about stunted growth caused by what can be multiple factors and im really concerned about our Russian. He’s just coming up to a year old. He’s 5.5cm in length and weighs 44grams. Just wanted some of your guys takes on this and whether is sounds like a concern?

Thanks again

44g in a year is a concern I would expect weight to be round 75g plus. Please read this care sheet and check all your settings. They must have calcium added to fresh green leaves, weeds and flowers. If you share pics if the tortoise front , back and legs and enclosure there may be other things to change...

I would review make changes as required and weigh weekly and maintain a log. This is invaluable for tracking weight increase and loss.
