Hello! We have our little RF in a 2x3ft concrete mixing tub right now but would like to “pretty” it up and make into some kind of neat table to put in our great room. Any cool suggestions??

Cement mixing tubs are not very ideal for Red foots tortoises. The height is very low and the process require to convert a mixing tub into a closed chamber enclosure is far more tedious than it to buy a Christmas tree tote enclosure.

A Christmas tree tote is larger and affordable:

If you dislike the look of the Chrismas tree tote you can always purchase a display worthy closed chamber enclosure such as one made by the Animal Plastics:

Please be aware that red foots require a humidity level of 80% or more at all times. Temperature level also must be around 82-86F at all times. A basking bulb is optional and should be at 90-95F and set for 12-14 hour daily cycles if you plan to use one.

These requirements are much easier to accomplish in closed chamber setups. An open table setup on the hand will have trouble keeping these temperature and humidity levels stable thorough the day.
