I don't see this very often in the forum. I have 2 rf that are about 3.5 inches maybe 2 years old at most and a lil one that's about 1.5 inches. Right now they are inside and have 2 plastic cement mixing tubs combined that equal the dimensions 48x24. I have room in my room to get one more tub to make it a cool "L" shaped tub and equal 12square feet. At 8 sq ft as of now.

So what dimensions are best for me?

Ps it's an inside tank for now. They're in there at night roughly 8 months out of the year

Well, I'm not a rf person, but for two small-ish sulcatas I'd say at least 5'x5'. My sulcatas (2) are around 3.9- 4.5 inches, and I have them in a 6'x5' area and they are cramming for more space. Hopefully some redfoot people will join in.
I hope that sorta helped. :D

My rf is about 3.5 inches and is doing well in a 48x18in enclosure. I've read a few times that a general guideline for space is that length of the enclosure should be 8 times the tortoise's length, and width should be 4 times the tortoise's length. Of course, multiple tortoises means bigger.
