confused with names.

can any one please tell me if ornate box turtles, ornate wood turtles, and painted wood turtles are the same species? i'm trying to research them and need to know if i'm looking at the right info. before trying to convince the wife that i need one lol, thanks

Nope, all different. Try looking them up under their scientific names:

Terrapene ornata ornata
Rhinoclemmys pulcherrima manni

There are a couple different sub species of the Rhinoclemmys. I'm not familiar with them, but the two you listed are the same one.
