I believe this is a Submandibular gland infection. If so, she just needs a lot more hydration?Looks an abcess forming. This suddenly appeared after about a week straight of rain.

She stopped grazing regularly about two days ago, but she's been trying to nest. I looked in her moth and there are no signs of bumps or anything just her chin is swollen.

Could you post a bottom-side pic?
Did you find any punctures or external anything that could be infected?

No punctures or anything, she actually started nesting this afternoon, so I'll get more pictures later. I plan on sending them to a specialist tomorrow if they aren't tired of me yet😂

It is not mouth rot, IMHO.

To me, it appears that the problem could be related to the fact that the keratin layer of the lower beak has been chipped off on the right side all the way down to where it meets the skin of the neck. There appears to be a small scab right at that juncture, so possibly a bacterial infection has begun due to the loss of integrity of the tissue allowing bacteria to enter the fascial plane of the neck below the wound.

It might resolve on its own over time, but if it gets any worse, antibiotics might be needed.

Hopefully that keratin layer didn't break off due to Austwickia chelonae, although it doesn't appear to look the same as those cases.

Good luck.

Her beak is chipped and it lookes like the lower half might go completely. We've been getting record rains, but I can't see that being the initial cause. Loosing it maybe, but she may have hurt herself. I'll have to get her some antibiotics and isolate her.

I'm waiting until she lays her eggs, but the rain keeps stopping her.

If that whole lower half of the beak comes off, it would make Austwickia a more likely cause. Have you seen any yellow skin lesions?

I believe she did have one on her back leg I'd have to check agaian. I'm hoping it's not the case. I can treat her with some amoxicillin. When I figure out the dosage for her.
