Cucumbers

My tortoise doesn't seem to eat the leafy greens I've been feeding her that's she's eaten before. But, she loves cucumbers and it seems to be the only thing she's been eating the last couple days. I know cucumbers aren't great because they have minimal nutritional value. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Squeeze the cucumber juice onto the greens. Only feed cucumbers on very rare occasions after this. Like kids or adults tortoises seem to like the junk food better.

Evan though kids love candy we don't let them eat nothing but candy , we take charge and make them eat what we know is best for them !

Your tortoise will eat what's good for it when it gets hungry enough.
They can go a long, long time without food, so be tough, don't give in to those sad eyes.
It's painful, but you must win.

I couldn't agree more. Feed less cucumber more greens

Stop offering cucumber. Mix small amounts with other food if you have to. Slowly reduce the cucumber all together.

Another vote for tough love here. A hungry tortoise will eat eventually. Cut out the cucumber and only offer the greens. They can go a long time without eating, but not drinking so soak daily for a good 20 minutes while your tort sulks and refuses to eat.

That's a tough face to deny haha. I will stop giving her cucumbers and give her only the spring mix which I have right now. Thank you guys for the advice.
