Cucumbers

So this is what has just been on the news, (sky) that the authorities have identified a very large amount of cucumbers that are infected with E-COLI,

This made me think of the member that had several of her torts die suddenly after eating cucumbers.

Oh no. Thanks for the warning. Our Russians eat mostly greens anyway, but I will be sure to avoid cucumbers for a long time until this scare is over, even for a treat.

Thanks for the info! That is just so sad... Once, at the grocery store near my house, there was the same problems with Ecoli with tomatoes and boston salad, it is so scary because even if we wash it properly, the bacterias are still there

Did they mention where by any chance? or country of origin for them?

I didn't catch where they originated from, but some of the batch had been received in the UK. 10 people have died in Germany through the cucumbers. OMG they come from Spain. Glad I don't give my torts cucumber..
