Hey is there a type of redfoot that's more rounded rather then hourglass shape or is that male female thing? Or is there a region a redfoot comes from that has the more round shape?

Im no expert..
Just started raising redfoots last year but... From what i think i know is that the hour glass shape is male trait.. But im
Pretty sure cherry head redfoots do not have that trait.. Cherry heads are said to be more soutern species of redfoots.. The hour glass waist is more of a norther trait

Cherry heads tend to be more round but thats usually only while they are hatchlings. The hourglass shape it a male characteristic however i have several females with a slight hour-glass shape. The older the tortoise gets the larger and more elongated it becomes. Every individual is different from the next.
