Cut on belly

My Hermann (8 months old) seems to have a cut on his belly. Should I be worried? The only thing I can think is that he did it climbing onto his food slate. He seems fine and is walking around and eating as usual.

He's eight months old? Could be the cut from his egg sac falling off since he's still pretty young they take a while to heal

Any minor wound that you see on a tortoise can be treated the same way you would treat a minor wound on yourself. Clean it off and apply a tiny dab of Neosporin. In order to keep it from getting dirt stuck to the ointment, don't apply too much and rub it in as much as you can, then wipe off the excess.
