are they the same as the cuttle bones for birds?
and does it matter if it has a flavor?

I buy the ones that are used for birds. When I go to the feed store I head straight to the bird section and pick up a few dollars worth..

I have in the past, ground the cuttle bones into powder form to sprinkle on there food, but it takes a little time, now I just use a knife and scrap some of the cuddle bone on there food or just toss the whole thing in the enclosure.

I buy the unfavored ones (never heard of flavored ones) from my local feed store 25 cents a piece, can't beat that price.

i have it in her travel carrier so she isnt in it much but i havent tried any other kindd
she was scared of it so i didnt think she even touched it until one day i came home and her beak was pink lol
