Tank has some damage to his upper scutes that he came with from his prior home.
There he had a 6 ft burrow he dug for himself. To get in and out of the burrow, he scraped his carapace on the concrete foundation above him. I'm sure as he grew, it became a tighter fit and made matters worse.
So now he has this damage. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to help it heal.
Any topical creams or ointments anyone has heard of?
His diet is great and he eats lots of cuttlebone.
What can I do???
This one is the worst. It will actually pull away from the carapace if he walks through leaves.
This one is looking better.
And this one is nearly healed.
