Mine too.
Literally
Yep. And they can be really mean too if they decide they don't like you. I got bitten in the eye once by one simply because he didn't like me. I was trying to be kind, patient, and his friend the stupid.ahole

This is one of them.
Head like a muscovy. Thinner body and strange mottled coloration.
Neck ring of an Egyptian
Unusually agression for muscovy.
Egyptian geese are sometimes in the same areas and also seem to have high survival rates.

This is probably a south Florida problem. But I have an issue with ducks.
More specifically with ducks pooping all over my porch.
We do not feed them. Are not kind to them. We chase them away and throw things at them. But, they keep returning to spray their disease ridden poop all over my front porch.
Any ideas what I can do? Other than Googling duck recipes?
I placed the bench inside my garage. Convinced that they liked the shade it provided. And it worked for just one day.
This morning they returned.
I'm getting very annoyed.
I do not want to harm them. And frankly, I'm not sure that even that would deter them. They're as stupid as they are stubborn.
But they love you! 😆 sorry. Nothing helpful to add. We had a group of ducks that used to fly in and swim in our pool! It was cute exactly once, the first time. But they were SO messy! In our case they came from a park across the street from us. I complained to the city and those ducks never returned. Still not sure what they told those ducks to keep them from returning.
