It is extremely dangerous to allow a tortoise the run of the house. They can eat cat hair, dust bunnies, paper clips, too cold, getting closed in a door and KILLED, I could go on and on. But...if his enclosure was a proper one, big enuf etc. you would not feel the need for him to walk around the floor. DO NOT PUT YOUR TORTOISE IN DANGER ON THE FLOOR seriously stop!!!
