So I found some Hermann tortoises for sale near me. ( recently hatched) they look very healthy and I am trying to decide if I should buy one. I am selling my sulcata tortoise cause I posted the reasons for that on a different thread but I can't decide if I want a cherry head redfoot or a Hermann or maybe both...? (I would definitely keep them in separate enclosures if I do get both) idk what to do! I don't think I will get a cherry head tortoises till around 3-9 months. And I have the stuff for the Hermann tortoise so it would not be a problem getting one but I just don't know what to do and I need a little advise.

I think you should read up on them and learn all there is on tortoise keeping in general.
Decide if you have the means and space for all the ones you really want and get the ones you really want, so you are not making another bad choice like with the sulcata.
Hatching time of year is now. There will be lots available.
Just my 2 cents.
