Dent in back of shell?

Hi I have a 3 month old sulcata and I noticed a small dent in the back of his shell that wasn’t there before.

I was wondering if it’s normal and will even out as he grows or if it’s a sign of anything. It’s a little hard to see in the pics but u can definitely feel it and see it if u look close

He has been eating a lot more recently and gained 25 grams within 5 days. Could it be from over feeding and rapid growth?

I do sprinkle calcium powder on his food 2 times a week, his humidity is always 80+, and his temps are fine, lights are working fine. So nothing in his routine has really changed.

If you are concerned about slight "depression" on carapace it's likely a genetic thing found in Mali sulcatas and is not an issue. Here is an older similar thread:
